Brute SF in Miami Video Breakdown

Released on Thrasher’s Website two days ago, Brute SF in Miami is a short but sweet video destroying Miami Spots from the Brute SF crew. Miami is my hometown, the place I lived for the first 24 years of my life, and the place I began skateboarding, so a review of this video seems necessary. Spots in this video include most main Miami spots as well as lesser known spots. This video is highlighted by Jonathan Perez’s Stair City wreckage, including a heavy Backside Smith Grind and Backside 5-0 down the steeper handrail and a heavy Switch Heelflip over the Bayside 7 wall. Other spots in this video include the Arto Rail from Flip’s ‘Sorry’ on Coral Way, The Oscar E. Dooly Building on the University of Miami (the same handrail Paul Rodriguez switch flipped over in Transworld’s ‘In Bloom’), and the bump to bar in North Miami that Tyshawn Jones skated over in his Thrasher SOTY Cover. The ender, and in my opinion the best trick in the video, was a massive Backside Boardslide from Blake Norris down the huge Hubba-Handrail Hybrid on Brickell Ave., next to the infamous fountain gap and parking garage banks. This video is chop full of heavy hammers dropped all throughout Miami and is definitely worth checking out.
